Back in 1991, we opened our first retail store in Fairfield, NSW as Fairfield Discount Appliances. Following the huge success and organisational growth with our 150sqm Retail Store we decided to relocate into an 880sqm shopfront on Ware St, Fairfield in 1996. In 2004, our leaders decided to join forces with a Narta Partner in “Bi-Rite Home Appliances”. January 2010, we expanded the business into the commercial market, catering not only residential customers but now builders, developers and the housing industry.
After continual success instore and commercial, in June 2016, we decided to expand our reach into the online industry. Where we established as our new brand name ‘Appliance Giant’ onto the eBay and opened our first warehouse in Yennora, NSW. We launched into the market to service the Australian market with a vision, striving to assist and make shopping for your appliances easy, convenient and available to you 24/7. Following marketplace success and the arrival of Amazon into the Australian Market, we expanded marketplace operation into Amazons Platform in December 2017.
With this continual Growth, we outgrew our two facilities and in February 2019, we moved into a larger Distribution Centre in Wetherill Park, NSW.
In May 2019, We activated our website www.appliancegiant.com.au.
We have designed the shopping process to be as easy as possible and keep you informed every step of the way, both before and after you buy. We’ve grown and moved locations 5 times over the last 3 years due to our growing the space we are in.
Our whole business model is built around our customer where we aim to satisfy in both in terms of product, price and in service as well.
